Emerald BioAgriculture Corporation is a privately held company founded as Auxein Corporation in 1994. Auxein merged with Mycotech Corporation in 2001 to form what is now Emerald BioAgriculture. Emerald Bio applies new insights from modern biology to improve crop yields, enhance quality, combat disease and fight pests. The company’s primary product, AuxiGro® is used on over 25 crops around the world to add value and increase returns for growers. Emerald Bio has developed and patented a universal signal which activates natural stress response mechanisms in healthy plants. The result is a cascade of physiological responses which provide increased crop yields, quality and systemic acquired disease resistance. Sold under the brand AuxiGro® in North America, it was the first natural biochemical product registered by the US EPA to increase yield potential, enhance fruit growth and quality and improve the plant’s natural defense mechanisms.
