Frank W. Owen is President and Chief Executive Officer and is Director Emerald BioAgriculture Corp., Emerald BioAgriculture Europe, LTD and Emerald BioAgricultura de Mexico SA de CV. An alumnus of Michigan State University, Frank brings 25 years of sales, marketing and business leadership experience in agriculture and other technology industries. Frank has participated in the successful creation and launch of start-up ventures, has extensive international experience and has over 16 years experience with the agricultural division of the DuPont Company.
Michael J. Day is Vice President Finance, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer of Emerald Bio. For the five years prior to joining the Company, Mike served as CFO at two early stage entrepreneurial companies, with extensive experience including capital raising, financial reporting and human resources. In addition to financial management, Mike spent over ten years in domestic and international investment banking and private investment.
Peter S. Carlson, Ph.D. is Chief Scientific Advisor. Dr. Peter Carlson serves as Chief Scientific Advisor to Emerald BioAgriculture Corporation in addition to various other roles in the life sciences. Dr. Carlson has substantial expertise in genetics, molecular biology, and microbiology. Formerly, Dr. Carlson was Chief Scientific Officer of Crop Genetics International, a publicly traded agricultural biotech company which he co-founded in 1981. Dr. Carlson was also Chief Scientist at Zoecon (a unit of Novartis) and was the John A. Hannah Distinguished Professor at Michigan State University (1974-1981). Peter holds a Ph.D. in Biology from Yale University.
